How do I track a game with this tool?
Add each player by name, then tap the Make and Miss buttons for field goals, three-pointers, and free throws as the action happens, and use the plus and minus buttons for rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turnovers, and fouls. The box score and team totals update live after every tap.
How are points calculated?
Points are derived automatically, never entered by hand. A made field goal is worth 2, a made three adds the extra point (so it counts as 3), and a made free throw is worth 1. Because a made three is also a made field goal, the tool tracks it once and computes points as 2 times field goals made, plus threes made, plus free throws made.
Does it calculate shooting percentages?
Yes. As you log makes and misses, the tool tallies attempts and shows team field-goal, three-point, and free-throw percentages. Percentages read as zero until there is at least one attempt, so early taps won't divide by zero.
Is my data saved anywhere?
No. The tracker runs entirely in your browser and keeps nothing on a server. If you refresh or close the tab the box score resets, so jot down or screenshot the final line if you need to keep it.
